Here are our fathers the Fons many of whom have met our ancestors. Our traditional authourity is derived from their blessings.

The Meta Heritage Foundation, as part of its mission (MEHEFO), retraces our ancestral roots to ZANG Tabi, the seat of the forefathers of the Meta Clan, with HRM, TEGHEN TICHA X as the current Clan Head.

In line with succession principles in Meta Clan, a child who takes over the father’s throne, becomes the father of the entire family including his elder brothers and sisters. In the same light, the Fon of ZANG Tabi is the Father of all our fathers in Meta.

MEHEFO is designed to protect the Meta heritage from ZANG TABI, revive our rich cultural heritage through the various villages, traditional practices within the auspices of the Clan Head.
